Human Resources Director Director of Human Resources

**This position is located in or around Akron, OH**

**Must Have experience with a Large Fied Population mostly Sales and Service**

  • My client is in search fora Director of Human Resources with experience with a large field populations. 
  • The role will support smaller companies that will be integrated into the larger organization. These company still mentally operate as small companies inside a a larger framework. 
  • They need someone who understands and can manage both the day-to-day realities of HR Management in a small company, while also understanding and satisfying the demands of the larger corporate. 
  • The right candidate will have M&A experience and can manage the many details of integration activities. 
  • My client will very likely be acquiring and adding more businesses and they will need someone strong enough to lead HR integrations.
  • As a Human Resources Business Partner supporting the revenue generating business units, you must cultivate rapport and relationships with the management team to develop an understanding of the business direction/needs of the different business units. 
  • General functions include rolling out Human Resources programs such as year-end processes, handling heavy load of employment relations matters, performance management, and educating and guiding clients on all human capital management.
  • Implements HR programs by providing services, including employee relations, talent acquisition, succession planning and year-end processes
  • Improves manager and employee performance by providing consultation on performance management, conflict resolution, and manager effectiveness
  • Liaise with global HR counterparts and clients to facilitate implementation of various HR programs, policies, guidelines, and projects with cultural differences in mind
  • First point of contact for clients on all issues and partner with functional HR team as appropriate
  • Support mergers & acquisitions from an HR perspective

Job Requirements

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and equivalent work experience. 
  • 7-10 years of HR experience in a revenue producing area
  • Strong knowledge in local labor law and praxis
  • Strong customer service, facilitation, conflict management, change management, interpersonal, influencing and project management skills
  • Strong data management and analytical skills, including experience and understanding of basic excel functions such as pivot table, simple formulas and ability to analyze dat
  • Experience working in a global team, working across multiple functions and location
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • In-depth knowledge and experience supporting Sales environment a plus
