Oversee a team of three individuals that provide on boarding support of physicians to the Hospital environment, application support for a variety of physician based applications such as the Athena Health Practice Management System, Athena Health Clinicals EMR, Precision BI and other misc systems
This position is responsible for the management of critical business systems applications. This position requires an extensive understanding of business applications that support the enterprise business departments and/or departmental applications. Is responsible for creating relationships and working with senior customer constituencies in the following departments: Finance and Payroll; Accounting; Human Resources; Supply Chain; Quality Center; the Central Business Office; Patient Access; Nutrition and Environmental Services; the Extended Care Campus; Homecare; Compcare; Legal; Compliance and Risk Management.
Areas of management focus include: Skilled with managing customers and building relationships at the Director, Vice President, Senior Vice President, and Senior Executive level. Expertise in the areas utilizing Administrative applications; grasps complex business processes quickly and sees the big picture. Expertise in partnering with customer departments and IT&S team members; translates business requirements into viable solutions.
Leads strategic planning sessions with Senior Leadership. Acts on and executes Exec On Call responsibilities for major system outages, disaster management and change control. Partners with the Project Management Office to support all phases of project implementation and has expertise in Project Management. Leads accepted change management principles effectively. Directly oversees staff members, and is responsible for ensuring their work output is satisfactory and their concerns are resolved.
Is responsible for all hiring and related personnel decisions, completing routine performance review evaluations, training, scheduling, and the like. Supports direct reports in personal development and identifying opportunities for advancement.
