They are seeking a superstar leader to take their human capital services to the next level and provide strong vision and leadership for the organzation for the next decade in these rapidly changing times in healthcare.
The Vice President of Human Resources position is a critically important member of the senior management team and reports directly to the President and Chief Executive Officer. The VP HR is responsible for the development, recommendation and implementation of a Strategic Human Resources Plan to meet the present and future human resources needs of the organization.
The VP HR leads and directs the overall functions of Human Resources which encompass employment and hiring, workforce development, wage/salary programs, labor relations, unemployment, employee benefits, job descriptions, assurance of compliance with various legal provisions, employee education, employee relations and supervision and direction of staff in the Human Resources Department.
This executive level position will ensure compliance with laws and regulations governing wage and hour, labor relations, employee health and wellness, the Joint Commission and other federal, state and local requirements. The VP HR is a member of the Sr. Leadership Team and will champion the ethical and social conscience of healthcare operations. The incumbent will also be responsible for the strategic human resource planning to provide the hospital with the most qualified talent available, and to position this organization as the area’s Employer of Choice.
